i appreciate your help teleno but a lot of things are vague to me concerning metal detector technology...on this site people will advise but not always show how to implement what they are saying...maybe people could be more open and sometimes show diagrams to show how to implement...im a beach detectorist and one of my biggest problems is iron on my local beach which is very frustrating !!! and i just want to add to my surf pi something that can help me to reject iron a bit better.

I don't think there's any schematic, it would have to be developed.

no new matter disc in PI for me. time to time anybody stand up it and with no far away of some useful and i see dead sea of tranquility. full calm. CHANCE? Andy did close this detector, probably no chance. Aziz went out, budwikers was trolled and got out, nobody from old guardy here.
so you choice VLF, if you choice a disc. then - Spektr, Krot, Andy's Quazar. all are with u-chips and LCD.

you connect it to opamp output and... vu a lia! - you are in the game O_o
simple way, no something programming, only connect-and-go. look on pulse decay and disc where the gold )))

Pseudo-discrimination by looking at the decay time constant. Good luck with that!
