white's TM-800 hoard hunter

HI guys,
i have recently bought a white's TM-800 hoard hunter and was wndering if anyone could please give me any advice or tips for set up and searching with the machine.

Maaaate! What a machine! No idea how to set it up sorry, but by all accounts if you're looking for big stuff deep, you're onto it. My advice is follow the destructions. First time out with my GMT whites were spot on with the initial settings.
By the way I intend to make one of these(similar) by Colin Mitchells Talking Electronics website.
I would presume that soil mineralisation would severely effect such a beast. But salt would not.??? C'mon Q and Eric, put ya 2 bobs worth up!
