  • M6 Overload problem.

    Hi,

    i've big problem with White's M6, the metal is always overload with every coil and with every gain.
    The metal in normal, without coil.
    I tried 4 \ 5 types of coils, the problem remains.
    Who can help me?

    first of all try open the housing and check all wires going to pots and switches.

        somebody must do detailed instruction manual video how to repair the m6. no another way. found only for Specctra.

            Polesine, are you comfortable with electronics? Soldering? Know how to drive an oscilloscope? Most likely your M6 has an internal problem and it's going to take some digging in to find it. I assume you can't easily send it in for repair, because that's the best option. Otherwise, I would start with a detailed visual inspection, looking for a bad part or bad solder joint.

                  Most likely the problem, is the sensitivity potentiometer. You must replace this potentiometer. I repair many metal detectors all brands and I have encountered this problem several times in the M6.
