I just finished building my surf pro PI and it only generates a steady tone. The tone will increase with the volum control but you can never make it quite and pick up any matal. I can set the offset and the delay but the tone is still there. Anyone have a starting point for me. I have rechecked the parts in the proper place and it checks ok.
