Hello everybody , i finally found my next bought , can someone tell me wich one better between these twos metal detectors
: first : ULTIMA F 5 from NEXUS , and ,
: secundo : STANDARD SE from Nexus , i knew that the standard is the new version of the ultima but i don't know the difference between the twos detectors , i wanna know who is the deeper and the best , by this way , i can buy , thank you

I have no Nexus MD because I have already some other very deep going detector called DeepHunter,
but if you wanna find a bit larger and very deep objects you will need for sure a large coil
and the Ultima has one. You will find no cavity with the Nexus MDs and therefore you might miss
important things but for larger metal objects the depth is good. But: it's limited by the coil-size!
And there exists no larger coils for the Ultima. btw. the 20'' coil costs €1195 which is pretty expensive.

Also keep in mind the weight. For smaller places it might be OK or for a few hours per day.
You have to sweep everything around, not just the large coil which has already some weight.

Nexus Ultima weighs 2.7 kg with the 20" search coil.

And with 8 AA-Alkaline batteries even more!
This is alot weight, believe me. It can reduce your search-motivation pretty fast.

thanks for the advice but how much for te deephunter ? and is it more deep and reliable then the nexus ?
what do you mean by " and therefore you might miss important things" ? and also wich deepunter are you talking about :
the golden mask deep hunter or the makkro deep hunter becase the first is P.I ande the second is VLF , and the twice are very heavy too , thank you

We are talking about the Makro DeepHunter, price might be around the same as for the Nexus Ultimate.
It is already with its standard 45cm coil the same deep as the Nexus Ultimate and with its 1m coil even deeper.

With the Nexus you can't find cavities, tombs, graves, meteorites, tunnels and other important stuff.
And in such cavities can be deeper hidden the best treasures!

The DeepHunter is much easier to work with, because you only have to hold the coil.
You will sweep ca. 1,5kg instead of ca. 3kg. And modified you only will sweep ca. 1kg
or you can roll and drag the 1m coil fast and very close over the ground.

If you are a rookie treasure-hunter and you have not enough money for the DeepHunter
you also can get for the start the Makro Racer with 40cm coil. ca. 800 bucks all in all.

btw. 2 weeks ago a famous treasure-hunter (he found a very rare vikings-coins hoard)
from Denmark bought the DeepHunter - we are still waiting for his feedback.
