someone on another forum has asked for the coil connector for the GMP. Hopefully someone on here has changed one.

If you need the pinout of the connector:
wit = white cable to coil
batterijlader = battery charger
blauw = blue cable to coil
I search with the GMP for years now and the connector is a weak point in the design.
I have shortened the coil cable and soldered it directly to the PCB.
Added an extra cinch connector for the battery charger. -
anybody know where to source these connectors ?
I have a few to repair.

Cable too.
I had "zillion" on service so far. I can tell.
Apart that, i will agree that XP detectors are splendid performers, top notch. First on my list.
But when it comes to servicing with original parts... just forget about that!
Original cable, connectors, coil&remote battery (Deus); are more than HOT if asked from XP directly.
Literally ROBBING! French raccoons!
Any other Lipo 3.7V battery will do, any other double coaxial cable will do, any other 4 or 5 pin connector will do.
By /10 up to /20 of the price they ask!

hi k, what you could do is replace the sockets and connectors with radio mic 4 or 5 pin types like ivconic suggested(more than adequate) on the detector and his coil/s, then salvage the socket(original xp) from the detector and make him a fly lead about 4 inches long with a replacement plug one end the xp socket the other, the if he buys another coil or borrows one he can still connect it to the modified detector.
i did that with mine.Comment
