  • VLF metal detector project for detecting in salt water

Is there any project here on the forum of a vlf metal detector that would be suitable for detecting in salt water Or what characteristics should a vlf metal detector have to be suitable for detecting in salt water .. certain frequency ..ground balance..etc?
    Thanks.

I have built a Bandido (similar the the TGSL) and the IDX

both work well on the wet sand on some beaches and unusable on others.

As far as I know there isn't a VLF detector project that will work on all wet beaches

It can be done, but it requires a separate GB channel, with absolute value circuit on its output.
I may fix IGSL to do that, but not now - too much other stuff going on.
