I have a question abouit the VP3

Has anyone here ever tried the Vandal Pulse 3 with discrimination? Looks like it does work on the video. I see the seller is a long time member here. But you all know the old story if it looks too good to be true....... Don't mean any offense just want to be cautious as it is a couple of hundred we are talking about here. I wanted to use it strictly as a beach machine.
