Hello all,
I have a new Aquapulse AQ1B that runs at a lower than stock pulse delay so the performance on lower conductors is very impressive.
There is one feature that I would like to know if it could be added and that is a SAT control.
The threshold has a habit of drifting below what is originally set and within a minute or two becomes silent. This requires the threshold having to be regularly tweaked so that the detector can be heard. Running the machine in a silent threshold reduces the sensitivity in that a target may not be heard. I believe the old Fisher Impulse needed regular tuning and the desire of owners to have an extra hand when detecting.
I am wondering how difficult a SAT feature would be to engineer into the detector's board? I am guessing quite tricky....
Thanks for any ideas.
Tony.
