Total cost of the PCB's with shipping, Canada Customs import fee and taxes roughly $10US per PCB.
Order was placed on a Thursday in China, arrived at my doorstep in Canada Monday. A day earlier than scheduled to arrive.

A batch of 12 pieces made by Elcrow arrived with regular post to me in 20 days (no DHL super charges) and by final price at $54 !!!
        Can you believe it?
        I was pleasantly surprised!
But if those were sent via DHL to arrive within one week; price would be least doubled!
Since i had no reason to hurry; i picked regular "slow" shipment.

PCWay cost would have been similar to yours had it not been for the DHL shipping, Customs Fees and Taxes.
I could have chosen the cheaper China Post Air, just too bad items shipped that method from China to Canada now seems to be taking 30-40 days.

            IC choices, does it matter?

              Part values?

After looking at the schematics, I believe i came up with the correct parts values for the SMT board, just not sure.
Rather than post my guesses here and confuse people as to what is correct or not. Would you please give the correct values.
Would be greatly appreciated. Thank You

It is 4053 on original. 74HC4053 i haven't tried yet.
                LM1458MX (i used MC1458 though), BU4053BCF-E2 and LM324ADR2G should be alright.
Elcos are 330 to 470uF, voltage ratings usually slightly above power supply, you can use 16v/25v/35v.
Put all 470uF where you have enough room to place it. Cap no. 4 is 100uF.
All unmarked SMT caps are 100nF.
Diodes all 1N4148 SMT equivalents... let's say MMSD4148, LL4148 etc.
Except for the 3 zener diodes; 5V6, 5V6 and 3V9.
                B on your sketch can be 2V7 to 3V9, i put 3V9.
                A and C are 5V6.
C zener is for low battery alert (Led diode). Maybe you will have to adjust it for accurate alert level.
By "adjust" i mean; maybe you will have to experiment with other zener values; 4V7, 5V1...
It can depend on supply voltage and type of battery you use.
                ...
Actually it is all easy traceable using posted schematic.
Just follow schematic and see what component is tied where on pcb.
                ...
A1 and A2 are screw holes.
C1 speaker minus and C2 speaker output.
C3 is +12V and C4 is battery minus.

THANKS AGAIN Eclipse, you were right about them!
I found better manufacturer - I now use smart-prototyping.com for PCBs.
Quality is probably same / or probably slightly better, but turn around time / cost is the best.
It has to do with Deutche Post which comes at pretty good price, it's handled by DHL so the boards arrived for around 3 days in Europe after their being posted,
local postal office processing takes around 2-3 days more. There are other PCB manufacturers which also use Deutche Post but at a slightly higher price.
So I got the boards I ordered in less than 2 weeks, which is pretty well in comparison with 4-5 weeks with other manufacturers and waiting for China Post to deliver.

From the model "1+" up to the model "4WD" it is all the same pcb.
Except for some components added or removed from the pcb and front panel.
Some front panel commands are "locked" with fixed presets inside the model "1+",
while the same ones are presented on the front panel on model "4WD".
According to this you may anticipate the rest of missing components.
For example, for changing TX frequency between 8 and 18kHz, you need to add

switch and two non polarized capacitors: 100nF and 470nF.
"Auto GEB" is fixed preset inside with trimmer and "Manual" is with potentiometer mounted on front panel.
Another switch is just switching between them.

                        P.S.
This is nothing new. This is quite old "practice" already seen at some manufacturers in the past.
First what comes to my mind is the case of Minelab Musketeers: Colt, XS, Advantage...
                        Pretty similar story...

Inside all 3 boxes is the very same pcb.
                          Same story.

I started to make up a parts list for the SMT PCB I am working on.
