    Hi Willtran!!If I do it at two frequencies I would place it this way.

    • Hello friends!!
      I made the 12 inch double D coils with the following measurements.
      TX1= 36 turns of 0.45 (25AWG), 742uH, 2.9Ohm.
      TX2= 1 turn of 0.45(25AWG).
      RX= 92 turns of 0.25(30AWG), 5.471mH, 22.6Ohm.

      • I need your help friends!!
        I installed the coils according to the image that I uploaded previously about the configuration of the coils and I have not been able to make it reject the ferrite.

        • Hello friends!!
          I was able to make it reject the ferrite, now what I see is that it doesn't have a greater range, when I raise the sensitivity pot it starts to screech.
          It detects a 1 cent dollar coin at 18 centimeters and a 23.5mm diameter coin with a thickness of 1.44mm made of brass it detects it at 22cm.

          • Here I share the wave signals on Tx and on U1 pin8 (LM324N).
            Tx in 20uS, 5V.
            Pin8 at 20uS, 0.1V.

                  • On the Magnum/Gold Mask is the graphite shield connected to the RX ground or TX ground? I'm having excessive chattering and false signals while searching. It is currently connected to RX ground.

                    • I'm having trouble setting cx with circuit.LM324 1st and 7th leg signal very distorted.Can anyone give a good description of how to set this up?
                      How will the cx adjustment be, the signals are very bad, the ground balance and the disc do not work well.

                        • I built the DD coil. the CX winding is wound on top of the TX coil, but in the reverse direction as the TX coil. it is 1-3 turns. I put 3 turns. I need to know if the graphite shield is connected to the RX ground or the TX ground?

                          • Hello friends!
                            I configured my coils according to the image, that's the only way it works; CX only has one turn and is connected to TX in the same direction.
