I made the 12 inch double D coils with the following measurements.
TX1= 36 turns of 0.45 (25AWG), 742uH, 2.9Ohm.
TX2= 1 turn of 0.45(25AWG).
RX= 92 turns of 0.25(30AWG), 5.471mH, 22.6Ohm.

I was able to make it reject the ferrite, now what I see is that it doesn't have a greater range, when I raise the sensitivity pot it starts to screech.
It detects a 1 cent dollar coin at 18 centimeters and a 23.5mm diameter coin with a thickness of 1.44mm made of brass it detects it at 22cm.

On the Magnum/Gold Mask is the graphite shield connected to the RX ground or TX ground? I'm having excessive chattering and false signals while searching. It is currently connected to RX ground.

I'm having trouble setting cx with circuit.LM324 1st and 7th leg signal very distorted.Can anyone give a good description of how to set this up?
