  • Silverdog's Surf PI problem

    Hello everyone.
I just finished surfing the PI kit from silverdog and I have a problem . I have set the offset to zero, but it sounds continuously and irf9640 transistor is very hot.
Do you have the solution to this problem?
    could I forget something?

    Thank you in advance.

PS : Sorry for my poor english, i'm french

A hot FET means the frequency or duty cycle are incorrect. Check the components in the red circle.
    If they are OK look at the ones in the yellow circle;

Hello and thank you for your response.
Curiously, in the Partlist I did not R24 , so probably an oversight on my part and R25 and R22 do not have the same values that the scheme .
Small question , the surf PI 1.2 and the surf PI Pro are there the same ?

For my part , I will look more ready and keeps you informed of the progress .

      Big thanks.

      Regards.

        Hello everyone.

I think I found the problem, and it is huge !
After examination of welds on the circuit, I found that both legs of coil were soldered together !
I think I had to burn anything around !
I recovered all that and you want to know.

        Thank you.

Although check your welds in the hope that it may serve to others who have encountered the same problem
