How deep are you ready to dig (1m,2m, 3m,.. 6m?) and how many such holes per day?

Surf-PI and Baracuda are designed for use on the beach. Minipulse Plus is the only one with a 2-stage preamp to allow it to use early sampling. This means that it can detect smaller targets such as fine jewellery and gold nuggets. Hammerhead is probably the most powerful and flexible if you're searching for large deep targets. You might also want to consider Delta Pulse for deep targets.

Ive built each of these kits and as Qiaozhi has stated the HH was the strongest for me.
But out of them all my MPP is the most capable for jewelry hunting the beaches.
I have a TDI Pro, Ive had a Excal and sand shark. when I take out the MPP I have no second thoughts as to weather I have a capable tool. I find the same targets as with my VLF machines. (Earring backs, Staples ) The one thing missing is very small foil sometimes as compared to my VLFs.
When I take out my TDI I sometimes regret not taking the MPP beacuse of weight and I can really hunt pretty fast with the MPP and the pezio audio.
As far as depth goes I have done no real in ground comps but it seems my Mpp only falls a couple to three inches short of the TDI in most situations.
By the way Im also using a dual field coil on the MPP it pairs up very nicely.
For the money if the MPP kit and others if built correctly accesorized well and in capable hands they can compete with professional detectors in the $600 to $1000 dollar range.
