Sorry, I haven't seen that there are new answers but thank you.
Help help help....
The main question is success and win-win situation and for some countries every help simply comes too late -
at least for the actual moment.
Per instance I helped alot "ishtar hunter" from Azerbaijan which is not far from Iran:
http://www.geotech1.com/forums/showt...405#post132405
I gave him many tips for his Jeohunter metal-detector (from Turkey).
btw. VIPZ I know more about antique aryan, proto-iranian and vedic culture than you know.
I even know that the good-evil-polarizing jewish and later islamic faith originates from Zoroastrianism.
And the whole world sees the results of "faith-warriors" - Baghdad, the world-capital of suicide-bombers!
And that's why you have to be warned - because Iran is not that harmless as it looks from the outside.
With all those fanatic sunnits and shiits and those who supports them and there brothers who make war.
Or look at Bamyan in Afghanistan - destruction of cultural heritage full of blind hate on a massive scale!
The best people from Iran are the singer Arash and the actor Omar Sharif but they live somewhere else!
This was a joke! There are many good people from there and also very modern and good thinking ones!
And of course we are friends, VIPZ, no problem!
But our still main question is:
How good compatible is Iran with treasure-hunting ?!
VIPZ, you might be one of the good situated people who have a bunch of money so your personal
situation might be somehow priviledged but the risk still is something only you can measure.
And searching for stuff is one thing but what you do afterwards with the finds is another!
Most treasure-hunters are totally free to search as much as they want !!!
They just should not find anything that someone else wants or wants not!
So my tip for you still is: Get yourself a professional detector if you can
and check out before detailed all the risks or possible problems.
And last but not least for our Iran fans some beautiful impressions:

Salam Hammerhead, my friend,
the point is motivation, looking for joy in life and survival concerning the conditions of where a person lives, the country, the age, the options etc.
Now we are motivated to built metal detectors and find something interesting with it which makes our lives and those of our loved ones better.
The motivation is very old and archaic and originates from the nomadic seekers and hunters lifestyle. And like a family we like to help each other
to reach our goals and get or find what we want.
But the problem is that the government or the mighty ones in some countries have totally different interests concerning treasure-hunting.
OK, Egypt has a long tradition with archaeology, checking out old tombs - those of the Pharaos and others - and treasure-hunting.
But the situation in Iran is a little bit different - its more "unlogical" because this land is ruled by "believers" and clans similar the Talibans!
The military in Egypt at least has a clear and well defined agenda - protecting the country and: it's treasures ....
Building a simple metal detector is possible everywhere - it was invented by Gustave Trouve (from Paris, Europe) in the year 1874.
with most simple equipment.

Graham Bell improved it:

I hope you've found meanwhile something to detect metal
but first be sure you know exactly that your region is safe:
Iran: 16.000.000 mines !

You also could flip a coin each squaremeter!
20x20 meters - ahahaha - this is nothing!
I would dig some trenches every 2 meters for the beginning,
with a small excavator. Some luck and you'll hit already the
treasure or you might see if the ground has been disturbed.

From our private conversations vipz is well connected, and has already acquired several deep-seeker pcbs, and assembled them with the help of technically minded acquaintances.
I am presuming he has narrowed down his search areas with the help of acquaintances with access to historical and archeological documents, with the blessing and permission of his peers.
This ongoing mockery and heckling will quite obviously deter vipz from posting his successes and updates, to all our detriment.

I am sure he is an honest and sincere, intelligent person George.
On a slightly different note, I got confirmation last night of ongoing work around the Broken Hill region as of the new year, which will take me to many and varied gold, gemstone, and historic properties. Finally getting back to my preferred profession of Woolclassing.. It has been a difficult stint-2 years looking after Mum after stage4 bowel cancer, and a major procedural hernia operation. She turns 70 this month, and is nearly back to health, giving me her blessing to leave.
It came out of the blue-an ex-employer and long time friend dropped my name, knowing I was close to a return.
Prior to that I was managing a sheep station 300km north of Broken Hill for 3 years. A thankless and neverending task. I arrived in a drought, with 1200 remaining sheep, and left them with 5500- not even a thank you.
Back to earning some good bucks, which will go a lot further now I don't drink or smoke.( The government criminals here now have a 20 pack of cigs at $40 !!!)
The shearing sheds are one of the few remaining bastions of comradery, hard work, hard people, and the life of a rover. There has been a resurgence in sheep numbers due to a combination of wild dog management strategies, good seasons, poor cattle returns/policies and global wool demand.
All my detectors will finally get a good run on the weekends now.
Packing up the caravan and taking all my electronics with me, as it doesn't take up much space, and I will need something to replace drinking after work.
There is no more beautiful( but harsh) place than the outback of Oz.My hometown here is infested with tourists over summer, so it will also be good to see them in the rearview mirror.

Cheers Carl-I wasn't pointing the finger at you. I do know one of vipz' forays involved historical accounts in relation to a prominent monolith. It seems he is well connected to the historical researchers in his country, and his interest is the preservation of history, not profiting from it.

Nice. If so, then whose idea was the title of this thread "Need some Help for Making GOLD Detector / Share Income !"
How can someone "share income" without profiting from "preservation
of history"?
Is "share income" your way of "preservation
of history" too?

Why you gotta take this **** out of me too now WM6? Sharing income IS my way of preservation of history-I give the prominent finds to the museum.
He was seeking help, and got mockery. I gave him a few pointers, which he offered to pay for, but I declined. I was happy to give free advice.
The line you quoted was my impression from private conversations with him, after he was mocked here.
