XP Deus with only "Gold field" program.

I don't see the point of hiding well known model behind new brand and model name?
Regular XP Deus is having 10 factory presets, on 10th place there is a preset called "Gold Field".
Most of the shown adjustments are also present at regular Deus, except for the possible choice of working frequencies.
Up to the V3.2 update regular XP Deus can work on 4,8,12 and 18kHz.
However they announced additional frequency choice at V4 update which is not available yet.
So i don't really see the point of this funny move!?

If it's locked into 'Gold Prospecting' mode (Iron Amplitude rejection) then it's not competing against other general-purpose hobby detectors, and they don't have to price it accordingly. They aren't calling it a Deus, so they're not confusing anyone with 'cheap Deus' and 'expensive Deus' machines.
It's obvious competitor would maybe be the Makro Racer Gold?

I find this very strange from XP. There have been many problems with Deus V4 version.
The V4 has been delayed several times and now they come with this version?

A stripped XP Deus with a different brand name. In my opinion degrade this the name and company, from until now a prestigious company!
Are there problems in the management of XP?

Press the on / off button for 5 seconds down. Then press the pinpointer butten 3 seconds while pressing the grondballans 6 seconds down.
If you've done everything right you should now see the initial screen of the XP Deus version V4 on the DPR 600 screen.

Congratulations, you have now a original XP Deus V4 for $ 680.

There are few truthful doubts and comments on video too.
I was about to write similar to this what i will write now here, few weeks ago on another topic.
I was restless to see newest V4 update, whole year they are delaying it and last info was that they are just about to release it in public.
But now after this, even if they release it; it would take much of a courage to connect beloved unit to pc computer and start the update!
God only knows what may happen?
Is there any way (as on iPhone 4s) to implement some sort of a "catch" at latest update; which will later prevent downgrade in case user don't like it or feel scammed somehow?
I don't trust to nobody anymore!
I will wait the positive reports from all around; before i even reconsider to update my own device!
Because such moves which we are seeing here are something that deeply affects our trust and can highly discredit the manufacturer, which i am not happy to say here now.
I already lost last grain of trust in Apple, fer instance. So as in many other famous and great manufacturers.
Whole world gone to hell already...
Why am i having this fear?
Let's think in reverse.
If this unit is planned to use same Deus hardware (seems so), than logical expectation would be that regular XP Deus firmware can be later uploaded to it, right?
But if you try to do that and you fail; logical conclusion is that they figured out some "catch" to prevent that, right?
If that is possible; than also would be possible to implement similar catch at latest V4 update to prevent any further downgrade to V3.2 or earlier, right?
What if they decided that it is time to rob us for more money, us the old users?
How?
To make latest V4 update somehow "shorter" for some features and performances! Ha!
So... once you update it to V4 and you realize that you don't like it; you will not be able to downgrade it to earlier version you liked, no more free lunch folks!
Logically you will protest. You will contact them and complain.
They will be very polite to inform you that downgrade is not possible anymore... but if you really insist on that; there is "very special and expensive" procedure to achieve that.
"Please send it to our nearest customer service... blah blah blah... for $x00 price..."
Ha! How about that? SCI-FI? Don't be so sure!
Few others already did it! Apple again was the first!
Think about those things for a while... digital stuff are the devil!
