  • GC-1023 pcb layout

    I am attempting to reverse engineer this very good detector from available pics posted on this forum. As you can see from the sprint layout, It's almost done. However, I cannot go any further because the top side foil is very difficult to see just from the photos. My plan is to complete the pcb layout, then reverse engineer the schematic.
    Any help to complete the layout would be nice.

      The top side foil will be hard to see on a through-hole board.
      I thought you were going to purchase one of these machines in order to reverse engineer it? How are you going to find out important things like the coil specifications ( inductance, resistance, internal capacitors, etc)?
      I don't expect the coil data to be the 'special ingredient' of the machine, but it's useful to help in the general understanding.
