thanks for that nick nice lay out, i have looked at the one you are building, are you programing it your self ? i have all the stuff to program and right software i might give the one you are building a test

        hi kosacid
thanks for that (you should try sprint layout v6.0 ,very simple and amazing prog ,some in that forum use it )

i saw i ve forgoten to name NE555,and LM358 !!!!!!!!(will post at the end) sorry

i ve just finished to make it works this morning (the propointer shaped in my post) and...... not very stable (too much EMI in house) i ll test it in live condition (have some things to do on it before to make it beatifull LOL)

im totaly and definitively noooob im programing language (don t know how people do!!!! perhaps they have 2 brain ?????) but i know burning pic !!!LOL

could you tell ma the sens of yours?
        is it stable (EMI)
what s the inductiv value of your coil (µH,mH???)
if i do your s i think adding some things like sound, vibrating, reseting switch and "what else?" (like clooney say in french cofee pub LOL)
will tell if mine is stable soon
        have nice day

          transistor????

          hi kosacid
          hi all
could you tell me if the transistor is well placed .
i ve made something wrong it don t work!!!!
what the data about your pinpoint mod coil wire diameter, number of turn, Henry values, resistance, etccccc.
          thanks

Who can tell you the correct position of the transistor, since no one knows what transistor you used?

              yes youre right
i found SUB85N03 instead of 85t03gh and i saw that in my pcb i have soldered it at 360° so it don t work !!!! GRRRRRRR
will turn it tomorow ,ill say the result

When turning the transistor 360 degrees you will not actually turn it!
                Look datasheet here http://www.mouser.com/ds/2/427/sup85n03-109419.pdf
I think your transistor must be paid to 180 degrees to the situation in which he finds in the picture. Then the gate, drain and source will match their places under the scheme

got my self a few arduino nano`s next im going to remove the 555 and make the op amp a 2 stage amplifier pipe it into the analog and make some code up to detect, ill use another thread for that one, but i have been using this as a pointer it`s ok but some metals are not being detected it might be down to the damping resistor

                    Hi all
                    Hi kosacid
Not at home but i have some adress talking about arduino simple desinged about what you want to do ,one is finished and work pretty cool with led signal viewing, and audio too
Will send you thé adresse this afternoon.
                    Have a Nice day

thanks for your reply ,effectvely i wanted to say 180° (180° too much !!!!! lol)
i ve done it ,controled all the soldering point and........ nothing!!!!dont works!!!!
only one blink when a put battery and when i put potentionmeter full there again one blink thats all!!!
perhaps my coil but i don t have the data for doing one other?????
                        thanks

nick that bad code its using delays the only time to use a dalay would be say a button push for a debounce, best using counters, im just at the point of pulsing the fet and working a good time base for it, but what is good is direct access to the ports less clock cycles, no one has ansered the post about Tx off time i put up sice no one has replyed i dont think it has been tested but im trying to work out when its best to trigger a pulse, so im going to try when the Tx reaches 0 and add buttons to make Tx varible but i dont know if it has any advantage

                              Nick
I think that from now all questions should be directed to Kosacid.
This is not a scheme of detector Pirat as you think. I attached archive where you can see the scheme of Pirat. There is also a file layout of pins original integrated circuit К157УД2 that Russians use. If we compare its pins with the fpins of LM 358 will see that the board of kosacid is full of mismatched pins.
If Kosacid wanted to do pinpoynter scheme Pirate, it means that the board is confused and will not work.
If he worked in another scheme that we do not know, then let him answer questions.
