Does anyone know the name of the company which makes the new detector?

      Eric.

      Hi Eric.

The company name is MPROS1 and the site is http://www.mpros.eu/en/.

for what 24V?? if you want more depth (more TX power in coil) you have to increase PULSE WIDTH but not the power supply voltage. DP has 500us max, its enough, you can
increase to 1000us and get Eric Foster's Aquapulse towed 1000uS. though with this width i deeply DOUBT its useful on the soil. Aquapulse towed 1000uS was used only for ocean/water environ, not for soil.

"If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck" ... probably we can assume it's not a pig!

"Filter Knob" is probably "Gain" Pot in Delta Pulse because when you can call it a "Filter" - when turned down (lowest resistance) it has more chatter and and noise,
and again if you increase it (higher resistance) you get less noise and less sensitivity..

Delta Pulse is pretty much tapped out in terms of improvements. In my last DP build I've removed 556, 4538 (both) and associated parts and placed a MCU
and still it's Delta Pulse so... the one thing that can be looked is the Autotune/SAT section which I doubt anyone understands how it works so... I'm willing to throw a bet it's what we say it is = Good Old Delta with new name & fancy Voltage meter on the front panel

Yes very good KT and Orbit. Yes Eclipse Autotune/SAT could be a bit quicker (or adjustable). I think Benhams document mentions how to speed up response time. These would be useful improvements for KT Marauder v.? maybe...
Perhaps experimenting with components/settings could eventually warrant 24v...Or perhaps it is just +/- 12v ?

I buy as much as I can from Greece to help their economy defeat the fascist and undemocratic eu (ok political rant over) so I will be buying one on these ASAP.

Right move Sean. I would buying rather their extra virgin olive oil, feta cheese and retsina wine.

You and I have similar tastes. At this very moment I have 8 litres of olive oil, crushed olives, houlomi cheese and retsina wine on its way from Cyprus (the Greek half). The olive oil is made by the nuns in a monastry in Limassol and it is far nicer than the best we can get in our local shops. The olives are grown by a detector friend I have known for many years, also in Limassol. My friend lost a lot of money when the government in Cyprus raided bank accounts a few year back.

                        Eric.

You should be able to adjust your components/coil to achieve this Foinikas. Check it against KT schematic and others. Or maybe KT has some boards for sale??

This forum btw is the reason i havent changed my Sniffer xr71p for something more expensive (eg. Lorenz).

                            Don't worry about it.
