My Sniffer, from Sinko aka Crazytech, one sided design, will detect an aluminium can at 1.2M (air test) with only a 30x45cm coil (3 flat winds cat5, tapped at wind 22, last 2 winds shielding).
You should be able to adjust your components/coil to achieve this Foinikas. Check it against KT schematic and others.
Or maybe KT has some boards for sale??

Many years ago Eric Foster gave me a XR71p constructed for Sniffer. It had only auto tune and don't had so good depth as yours.
I modified it so to have manual tune and it had better depth but was not so quiescent.
Do you have the 1.2m at al can at auto or at manual mode???
Also can you explain more about your coil??

Maybe the new Greek detector is an upgraded Superscan, which has been made in Greece for some years. The control box looks downsized so I guess modern batteries have been used rather than the lead acid gel ones used in the Superscan. Does anyone know the name of the company which makes the new detector?
Eric.

Hi Geo. Yeah, manual mode- but it is quite good in auto also.(About 1M.) I am unsure what sinko's exact specs are, and of course our mineralisation here negates actual usability. From memory it has a 680R damper. The coil is a square melamine tray. (picture below).
This document by benham vp, although pertinent to small gold mods, has some interesting tips on improving response time, and other parameters.
