again guys I URGENTLY AND URGENTLY ask you do the images more legible.

please do these step by step!

      1. wait clear sunday time. the sun must be VERY OPEN!
      2. GO OUT from your home, at your homeyard, at the sunlight.
      3. place PCB so the sun light will be from left upper PCB corner.
      4. the shadows must be short, but they must be!
      5. do a photoshooting.
      6. you have NOT EVEN A TINY CHANCE here to get the answer if you are doing your Home Work poorly and woorse.
      7. set your camera on high resolution. your pics has to be from 5MB and more.
      8. send your pics to
[email protected] with subject in subject field:
new hires pics of board [detector model name] for your collection.
      9. Forget your egoistic intentions only take on and give nothing in return.
do not cultivate your EGO here.
      10. do not waste your time making pics in your room. you will get only trash absolutely
unusable. yes, you and me are not professional cameraman and have not the needed
light pro equipment on your working table, so keeping some rules i offer and you will get perfect pics and btw will learn how to make perfect photos of your family,
lovingyou, children and the Nature itself. BELIEVE ME thats is EASILY!

GOOD LUCK IN THIS YOUR NEW HOBBY.

kept pics of revision 4 pcb from ebay. which full uses SMD components, thinking it was last one before they make elite pcb.
ebay is a source of the pics LOL!
i can email you all pics i have on sov xs.

                        This is my broken coil:
You appear to have the usual Garrett Crossfire coil problem. The outer TX wire is made of aluminium and the inner wires are made of copper. The failure always occurs where these two different metals are soldered together. You will need to use special solder for the aluminium wire, and a hot soldering iron.

Here are the details for the 8" Crossfire coil, but (as far as I remember) they're the same for the 12" coil.

                          Thanks Qiaozhi

In my coil R=10r and C=0.47

                          The wires are 5 : yellow - black & white - gray & blue - orange & red - green & brown

Tx (yellow copper) have 3wire and Rx (red copper) have 2 wires

Can you tell me how i can connect them in the picture

                          Thanks again

I don't know the answer for your particular coil. But - if you can identify which loops are the TX, RX and nulling; it should be a simple task to work out where the capacitor and resistor are connected.
