Compass won't release schematics no matter how old the machine is and Garrett will only if they are 20 years old or older. Its seems that these comapanies are paranoid about some "secret" that might be out even though they gave up on making those models. Whites will release them only after they quit making a model which isn't too bad. I was up there last week. I wanted the schematics on the XL Pro and they wouldn't sell them to me. I did get the ones for the 6000 Pro SL though. It seems that the free enterprise system is good for them but not us. How is that? They don't want competition or their designs improved for some reason. Sorry I could not give you better news. I have a Compass X-200 and wanted to make some changes and they would release them to me...........Henry

Compass Challenger X-70

I have a Compass Challenger X-70 and I'm looking for the A/C Power adapter so I can charge my batteries? My X-70 is in like new condition. I have the Gold and coin head as well as the larger metal detector head, If anybody, has any information as to where I can still get a charger please, contact me at [email protected]? If anyone is looking to purchase an X-70 Challenger, let me know?
