  • MIL-D1 mine detector

Hi. I just got an almost new MIL- D1 mine metal detector. So i will like to know if anyone has any experience with this device.
My first test where done succesfully, while it was compered against Minelab Explorer II Pro, Whites TDI and Aquapulse AQ1B.
Some of the futures of this detector, is that it can pinpoint 100% very tiny pieces of metal. For gold i tested with a very tiny pair of earings that with whites tdi can be detected at about 8 to 10 cms. With MIL D1, can be detected at almost same distance.
Another nice future, is that it can detect small metals, even if you have a big pice of metal close to it, the detector makes a diferent sound to allow you to keep tracking the small piece of metal.
Here is a description of the detector.

The most important feature of the MIL-D1 mine detector, thanks to two toned voice scan signal, ground the metal masses can determined point-precise location. In tests, the train rails are hidden beneath the earth cable between the trap by finding the best device on the field proved to be.
One search per MIL-D1 mine detector, one call handle, electronic control unit, carrying case and impact-resistant polypropylene shipping bag. The search will be retained in the light and the connection cable and the likely impacts. Electronic control unit which can be fixed to the right shoulder belt can be moved, as well as special WebCrawler or search can be mounted on the arm.
MIL-D1 metal detector does not require any manual calibration process. CEIA-specific automatic land compensation system for optimal sensitivity level to the achievement of all soil conditions. Detector, manufactured in accordance with ISO-9001 quality assurance standards and as required by both the military and civilian mine clearance operations have been developed to meet the requirements.

    • High-end digital mine detector
    • Magnetic, non-magnetic and stainless steel metal masses active detection
    • High sensitivity
    • Locating the target point-precise appraisals
    • Mineralized soil that thwarted the effects of automatic environmental compensation
    • Sound audio alert for self control and fault detection system
    • Static magnetic field without affecting the ability to detect mines that are triggered
    • Static and dynamic detection independent of Speed
    • Long battery life (65 hours)
    • Upgrade able software
    • Made of Durable, long-lasting and high quality equipment
    • Ease of use and maintenance

    Hello friends.
Today i made a simple test, to see wich land mine metal detector performs best with two small pieces of 1.6 mm coper wire.
Has you may see on the picture, those two wires are very very small. Indeed i tryied to know his weight, but my weighing machine can only read weights lower than just 0.1 grams, so i asume this wires can weight close to 0.3 or 0.5 grams. However you can see how tiny this wires are, compared to my hand.
Here are the results with standard coils on Vallon and also en Mil-D1:
    Vallon smallest wire small wire
    non detectable 5 cms
    Mil-D1 smallest wire small wire
    3,5 cms 6 cms

This really surprise me, cause i got Vallon recently and never did this test before. However both machines performs very well.
Mil-D1 has better pinpoint, because of his bi tonal function that is very nice.

Finally i will like to know from others, if they have any experience with Mil-D1

    Regards

It looks that no one has any information about CEIA Mil-D1 to compare against vallon VMH3CS.

However, both machine works excellent. CEIA Mil D1, in my test shows better deep for small pieces of wire has i showed on the picture of my previus post. But this machine is havier than Vallon.

Bealive me friends, comparing both units, CEIA wins compared to Vallon. So if anyone can get from military surplus CEIA, you will see the diference. CEIA also has a bitonal fuction that allows you to get those targets just on the center of the coil. CEIA it also a no movement metal detector.

I got CEIA Mil-D1 metal detector.
My question now is to know if any of the members has any experience with it.
By now i have done some minor test and looks like a very powerfull metal detector. My complaing now is to see how well can do on gold nuggets, cause it looks more powerful than vallon VMH3CS
