    Hello to all
I would like to ask you if the raptor project and specifically the discrimination and ground balance section can work properly using a 8.7khz oscillator frequency.
Is it possible to have pictures or drawings of the correct position of the relevant sampling to be able to correct them?
    thank you

What coil are you planning to use on Raptor?

      Hi Qiaozhi
The coil I have to build it, I will do a DD, but I wonder if the raptor project could work at 8.7khz by modifying only tx oscillator and making a coil suitable for this frequency without any other changes to the sampling circuits

It should be possible to modify Raptor to work at 8.7kHz, but it would require changes to the sampling circuits.
I would advise that you first build the circuit as described in the book. Once you have it working correctly, change the TX frequency and you will be able to work out what modifications are necessary by monitoring the sampling pulses with an oscilloscope.

          Hello to all
I'm experimenting with raptor project at 8.7khz
I've completed the sampling section with these results
I think I have to correct sampling discrimination
          Geb seems ok.

            Hi Gallico!
You are using DD coil as I have seen from your previous post in another thread.
Therefore you must have about 200° as shift.
Looking the image raptor "TP1-TP2.jpg" do you have this phase between RX and TX but instead you must have between TX and RX.
In other words, after not before.
            Bye

              Hello Sacchetti
You're right, in fact, I had already corrected the shift in another discussion: http://www.geotech1.com/forums/showt...-quartz-for-tx message 18 find the pictures.
However it does not seem to go this way, I still miss something.
              thank you!

                Hello!
                Hi Gallico!
Please, can you describe better which problem do you have with it?
                Bye
