Adding depth to a Tesoro Cutlass II uMax with NEL thunder Coil?

I was wondering if the NEL Thunder coil would be a good depth increase with my Tesoro Cutlass II uMax. I have read in various places that the various coils from tesoro had little effect on depth. Anybody have any knowledge or an opinion. I know they make them for the Silver so they would be compatible with my machine.
