  • Twinloop problem

    Hi to all

Finally built the twinloop and have a major problem.. I can set IC5 o/p to -1v, but only if I change R16 to 150R.. I can set IC6 to -3v. All seems to be working but I get no response even if I put a block of any metal near the coils. Does anybody know if there was an error with the circuit design ??

    Please Help ..

    Thanks Gavin

PS. I am now building a PI-1 option 1 out of sheer frustration :>

    Re: Twinloop problem

Gavin I am starting to buit the PI-1 also as sheer frustration to another design that worked very well the times I made them befor but can´t seem to get them going anymore. I reckon I may have a poor batch components there. Many times no signal is to blame shorted boards o badly soldered leads. Since we moved to this place where there is a 120 feet antenna aparently celular phones or ratio broadcast station my PI´s are not working. I am putting the blame on them too.Using the strongest magnifying lens has helped me many times.

I uses the LM 318 in side of IC 709 and work well its detect a one cent dollar at 15 cm in air. adjust the potenciometer adjustable until the speaaker sound if not, chech the datasheet of regulators and check the CMOS 7555 if its is good whith other circuit knowed sorry for my english.

      Best Regards and lucky.
