  • Houndog IB Detector (Leslie Huggard, Elementary Electronics)

I have discovered Lesley Huggard's Houndog on this web site and I am tempted to build it because it looks quite simple and straightforward. Unfortunately I couldn't find in the article what are the transistor and the integrated circuit (IC) the author used. On another website, I read the IC used on the Houndog is the LM 386. Is that correct? What's the transistor used?
Has anybody here in this forum built this basic IB detector?

My apologies, somehow I failed to include the parts list in the article. Yes, the IC is a LM386. I will get a corrected PDF made this weekend.

      Here's the parts list

Here's a scan of the parts list, until I can get a new PDF made.
