I was make it work in the bench with 12v accu batt, but when i use 3s 3 x li-ion battery, the ballance is gone and the device is useless, what is this???

Hi,
I've not been there for a while.
If you tune the detector on the bench and then, you put it in case with a different supply, it won't work.
You should tune it with the final assembly.
Do you use a ballance board for your lithium battery ?
If no, you should think using one.
My unit still gets hot on TX circuit. I'm bored troubleshooting it so, i do other things for some days.

Im usig 3S ballancing, its already ok now, i drill the epoxy and do a tuning, but with concentric i only got 25cm

One more thing, im not use resonance capacitor in the coil, when i use it, the deep is very low.... Im not sure why

hi kt315, can the quasar arm use coil goldfinder sniper dia11cm TX=760uH and RX=8800uH, when I plug it in it can detect but the 2gram gold ring is only 5cm away, is there a solution? please help
