  • C SCOPE CS 7

i was looking at different models of early pulse detectors on the internet and noticed a c scope model called a CS7 and it looked really professional and stylish..im just interested to know about the proformance of this detector and what the circuit was based on ??? i read it was microprocessor based.

It's a PI, and designed for diving.

Thanks for your replies...i just wondered what circuit it was based on...maybe it was one of eric's designs...looks impressive but not much info about it on the internet...maybe it was not very popular.

i think most of the world's best pulse detectors have been designed by Eric...and i guess some of the best metal detector designers have been inspired by Eric over the years.

the CS 7 looks a very impressive looking detector...personally i was never a big c scope fan although i did once have a CS 4ZX which was very nice but on the heavy side...i just wondered why the CS 7 is not mentioned much on the internet or youtube...maybe i guess it was an expensive detec tor when it came out and not everyone would have wanted a diving type pulse detector.

All correct. CS7 used a micro to generate the pulse sequence, otherwise the circuitry is the same.

                    Eric.
