    Good job.
It's funy cause i did exactly the same thing for my job (work on plane).
Yours is as my first prototype.
My last one does not have cable for right ear. I use the metal of the bracket to make the signal transitting.
The usb cable is hided in the ear. I'll post a picture later.
I wanted to use it for home made detector but each time i buy BT transmitters from China, i receive receivers !!!

BT version 4.1 is what you need, but not all BT devices are created equal and not all "pair"

i also have an old turtle beach gaming blue tooth headset which work really well with metal detectors....i also use sometimes a blue tooth amplified water proof speaker which also works well with metal detectors.

Im planning to put a v4.0 bl transmitter and headphone to my safari but afraid that it will have a noticeable delay. As we know that is a slow machine and if that wireless system will have a delay then can't imagine how slow the outcome.

with my pulse detectors the delay is not to bad...maybe you should buy a low latency BT transmitter but of course much more expensive item.

I already check it and I need 68usd for the pair trans and hp. I think i just stay with the wired one.
