  • REFERENCE DESIGN

    ALL.

The idea behind me posting the details of the motion machine I designed was to get as MANY people involved in improving the design as possible.

We could create a "reference" design which will be the basis of continued expansion by adding a PIC, maybe target ID (LCD) tone ID etc.

I am working on my own commercial version, but cannot post this here until the deisgn is on the market and selling. Then I will make it public for ALL to enjoy, and figure out. I may even publish the PIC code..

LMAO..Let's see another major manufacturer do that! (Challenge time)....

    Re: REFERENCE DESIGN

I doubt you will get any manufacturer to take up that challenge. But years ago and I don't know if it's true today. But both Whites and Fisher would sell you the schematic of the model detector that you owned. Fisher would even sell you any parts that you needed if you wanted to repair it yourself. The Fisher schematic was actually a complete service manual with tuning instructions and complete parts list with exploded views. I was very impressed with how complete the Service Manual was that Fisher sold. I bought the manual for the Fisher 1235 that I had at the time. I still have that manual around somewhere. The Whites Schematic was for a 5000D but I don't ahve that schematic anymore.
