Anybody ever seen this book? I wonder what 2-IC design is worth 15$ the seller asks.

The description below is from Ebay (I have removed ad data).

    ################################################

The "GOLDFINGER" (non-Ferro Metal Detector Plan)
Circuit diagrams for a metal detector that detects Gold, Silver, Platinum, Copper and Aluminum objects and minerals - rejects all ferromagnetic objects. The Goldfinger is designed to highly discriminate between non-ferro and ferro metals. It uses only two ICs. All parts cost about $50. Detection in soil is possible to greater than about one foot. Fascinating principles, design. Recently updated; includes much more info on freqs, search coil technology and other metal detector types.

    Author, John J. Williams, M.S.E.E.
Estimated word count for this manual is 8,100. ISBN: 0-934274-88-6. Edition 2003.DISCLAIMER: I assume no responsibility for this or any other publication of mine. Sold for legal educational and entertainment purposes only. No return or refund. LIMITED CIRCULATION.

    Re: book

I've never seen the book, but I have ordered from Mr. Williams company which is Consumertronics and the information was good. On the web page the book retails for $19,so what the heck, give it a shot. I might get one myself.

To find the book, just type in Goldfinger in the search field to the left in the online catalog.
