  • KRUZER - THE evolution for submerged treasures in 2018!

Up to 5 meters (16,4 ft.) waterproof !!!

But this is not only a great improvement for beaches and lakes, but especially for rainy weather!
So far I used small plastic-bag-caps etc. while hunting at moistly situations but now this is obsolete.

    And:
The inbuilt LiPo accu lasts for around 19h (2 search-days) and is rechargeable the usual methods
(by USB cable from adapter, laptop or computer etc.) but also mobile by portable USB powerbank.

All the features are listed here:
    http://www.makrodetector.com/kruzer-metal-detector.html

Especially important is the "Enhanced EMI suppression" because many detectors are
losing 50% of search-depth / sensitivity if there are any electro-smog sources around.
(which already means 50-100 meters nearby!) And I know what I'm talking about,
because sometimes I'm hunting directly below or close nearby high-voltage lines.

Per instance I could find at such a location in the last year with the Makro Racer and
40cm coil my so far deepest buried horse-shoe at 55cm depth (by vibration) -
but with reduced sensitivity because of the extremely high electro-smog there.

With the Garrett Euro Ace and 28cm coil I would have found it max. at around 20cm depth
(ca. 8'') at the same location - just for making clear how strongly e-smog can reduce depth!
Because the Garrett has to be reduced at 33% sensitivity which I have tested at the site.

And with 5 additional search-coils the whole range from gold-nuggets and large-deep stuff is covered.
But for the small gold there is a special edition called Gold KRUZER which works at 61 kHz.
(the standard one with 14 kHz and the Multi Frequency at 5, 14 and 19 kHz).

All versions are coming with wireless headphones!

And of course the Kruzer has vibration and LCD-backlight display which makes
hunting under water really nice !! Salty water and beach-sand also is no problem.

Well: 5 meters or ca. 16,5 feet under water is already something !!!
For guys like Hammerhead from Alexandria it opens up even the antique city site
and the flooded relics, because the Mediterranean sea there is very shallow.
Same as at many other beach locations where the tourists are bathing up to 50 or
100 meters beyond the beach - and have lost already tons of stuff there!

But the most important thing for hunting on land is that the Kruzer does not
cares if it starts to rain or other water-related situations occur!

Also the battery-weight has been halved and charging the internal LiPo accu
    works fast and simple.

I am a tester of the Multi-Kruzer. Basically a waterproof Impact with less modes.
If you have used the Impact and rarely use all the modes it has to offer, then the Multi-Kruzer is the detector
is the better choice. I now would grab the Kruzer more often than the Impact.

This clip is so perfect - haha - couldn't have done it better.
For underwater-tests we either need some diving-suit or waiting until the water gets warmer.

        Wow, cool!

Since I have already 2 good working Racer #1 (together with a nice collection of other MDs) I made a little
shopping-pause concerning Racer 2 and Impact, but the Kruzer will be definitely the next MD I wanna have.

It also opens up the possibility of searching through and besides not too dangerous rivers! Did it already 10 years ago
but because of all the splashing and sprinkling water, it can become quite dangerous for non-waterproofed detectors.
(haha, and it needs a good balance-feeling not to stumble while sweeping in the middle of stronger wild streams )

          This thread:
          http://www.geotech1.com/forums/showt...elling-housing
reminded me about the following question:

How SHORT is the Kruzers lowest adjustable stem-distance coil to detection-unit (or handle) ?

Because if there are any heavier streams, a pretty short distance (30-40cm) would be much better.

From coil bottom to the back of the control box at min., 60cm

You would have to shorten the middle rod and replace the locking collar. The middle section is like a Whites MXT section.

That's not the best for underwater, but you as a tester can give them the needed feedback.
Producing and adding a smaller middle-stem-part for diving-tasks to the package should be
no big deal and will become for everyone a win-win-situation. Any other problems so far?

What you can do is just remove the middle section entirely and insert the lower rod into the handle section. Cut the lower rod to fit your needs.

I wish there was someone that could do the testing in Melbourne Australia, and could give an honest opinion about the detector any detector that can work on the mineralized iron littered beaches of Melbourne.

                    Well, the video:

                    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ylmCePCJw_E

is honest but for small golden rings etc. it depends on the depth and alloy.
Some inches or centimeters distance from the iron of course will be a must
and the deeper the stuff, the more the signals can blur.

I think this detector is great but the equinox 800 is better for beach hunting.

Maybe for beach only but it is not for under water, has no vibration, electro-smog reduction and other features.

                            Salam Hammerhead, my friend!

I am happy that you finally have reached a pretty good and useful metal-detector! My big Congratulations !!!
Now you can work like a profi !!! You even can built a 50 centimeter to 1 meter coil for super deep detection!

                            > Russian pirate and work on the beach like a thief for fear of the police

Yeah, this is clear, because You are now the: "Russian Pirate" !! I am just joking!

Well - seriously spoken - if you don't wanna get a heart-attack from fear & shock you either bribe the cops with
some golden rings or other bakshish or: you see the whole thing as a funny "hide and seek" game and adventure.

A real man like you needs some action, excitement, thrill and a good chance for becoming rich and famous!

In summer the temperature in the evening is more comfortable anyway so you can hunt at night!

Here are 2 books (the covers) about ancient Alexandria - maybe you can find them
in Egyptian language. But I will check if they contain any useful information for you.

                              Hammerhead, I have the solution:
Just find some of these coins which can bring you a fortune!
They were minted directly in Alexandria and I'm sure you can still find them!
