The parts list needs checking against the schematic as I notice one part where the numbers do not appear to tally. C1 in the parts list is a 4700uF 16V capacitor which is the TX reservoir. This is missing on your photo, Orbit, and on the board layout that I posted it appears to be labelled C17. That is the only place that a big 1970's electrolytic cap. could go. Interestingly in the next picture that was posted by Samii, that position is a black rectangular box.
It may be something that was deliberately done to confuse the copyists, as the parts list under sundries, has a potting box. Perhaps the only thing inside is the 4700uF capacitor. The logical position for the reservoir is close to the TX transistor for which there appear two terminals/pads labelled C1+ and C1-. It could also be that the 4700uF capacitor is wired off board across these terminals and C17 which is 0.22uF is in the potting box. The associated IC9 is close by. I'll leave that open for discussion and see what comes up.
I recognise the latter one, It was for a detector we made for the timber industry, hence Woodtec on the edge of the board. The detector was used to scan timber before sawing it up. Old trees have remains of wire fences and nails embedded in the timber; even bullets and shrapnel from WW2 sometimes. It doesn't do a bandsaw much good to strike a piece of metal.
Well done Kt315. You did a great job in stitching it together. From one of your pictures I can see where the 4700uF capacitor is. It is off board behind the metal plate at the rear of the case.
The circuit board with the large potting box is what I remember to be in the Eurodec. I have an unused board somewhere, which I will try and find. The XR7 appears to be stuck on top of the original label in your pictures.
thank you very much from geotech friends!
can someone detail about black box in picture of kt315 attachment and search coil discriptinon?
again thank's
hi friends. thanks for the scheme. orbit-eric-kt315.
I'm short to finish drawing. https://ibb.co/fCjay7
what is this module . how we will find out. will it work without the module https://ibb.co/hMEQy7
