  • Minelab Sovereign

I am in the process of tracing the circuit bd. on my old Minelab Sovereign. It looks pretty straight forward. This detector has a heffty transmit coil drive circuit that looks like an H bridge configuration with 4 power transistors. Has anyone else traced this one. I would like to see your schematic or when I finish I will be happy to share mine. This sight has re-sparked an old interest of mine I am starting to do some things that I have been meaning to do for years.

When you have finished, can you PLEASE post them on this website, or I would be happy to pay you for a copy.

      Re: Minelab Sovereign

When I am finished I will be pleased to post it for all. I am not in this for money, its what I like doing. This is a pretty tedious task due to the complexity of the circuit and all the SOIC surface mounts so it is taking some time. I am thankfull that it is only a double sided board. I would apreciate schematics of any other detectors that are not to old. I also own a Compass coin pro ll that I want to modify.

        Re: Minelab Sovereign

I'll help if I can, but even though I'm the sole UK importer of Compass machines, I cannot give away circuit diagrams without losing my dealership (dang it!)

I DO have a few others that I can snail mail to you however.

Go to my website and email me your home addy and I'll send them as soon as I can.
