I found this way of tuning my coils for maximum output. I tuned the pulse rate and pulse width for max. scope voltage. It was adjusted at the diameter of the coil. Just a interesting way of looking at the coil output. Best to all Jim

Thank you Carl, now it becomes clear how some people think so highly fo them selves. The interesting part of the test was the Hammerhead board put the maximum output to the basket weave coil, I di the same test with the PI-1 and Surf, PI-1. The test was just for fun, knowing that the voltage on the coil ramps up in a linear fashion and the current is 90 degrees lagging. . Best to all Jim

Hi Waltr, I trying to see if the coil output amplitude voltage would increase by tuning the PRF and Pulse width to a search coil. The test is like tuning a HF transmitter for max. output with a field strength meter. I found that the basket weave coils produced more amplitude. The concentric coil were all less amplitude, I tried the Surf PI-1 and PI-1 boards they didn't produce the output the Hammerhead board did. All my coils are wound with Litz wire, 175/46 and 446/46 wire gauge. Just a raining day project. Best to all Jim
