VALLON VMH 3CS. O Ring.

Hi Guys,

With the Vallon on the telescopic shaft & the knurled locking collar near the box. Can you use a larger o ring same size as the shaft 25mm and does this make it waterproof also applying silicone grease.

The only o ring on the VALLON VMH3CS shaft is inside the locking collar of the upper and lower shaft. This o ring seals the connection between the upper and lower 7 pin connector. It's thickness can go as high as 1.5 mm. a slight smear of dielectric grease will not hurt. The locking collar next to the body that the upper shaft telescopes in and out of has no o ring and is made to flood the upper shaft. Do not worry about the shaft flooding. There are though other points of water entry areas needed to be in perfect working order so as not to damage your machine. Hope I made myself clear.

I have put an o ring behind the locking collar to make it easy to open near the control box. Regards Ray.
