I made this thread to discuss techniques for detecting different type coins being ancient or modern. Everything from different greek, egyptian, celtic, roman, spanish, modern and other type coins around the world made from specifically gold and silver. Frequencies of coins, pulse delay for coins... What type detectors are best for gold coins, and others for silver coins. What technologies respond better to which type gold/silver coin- vlf, pi, bbs, fbs, multi iq(equinox), dual freq machines, single freq machines... max depths possible for hitting single different sized coins made from gold or silver, and everything else related to coin hunting and possible future detecting technologies aimed at coins
