Best DIY detector for gold on beach (wet sand and few seawater) in volcano soil

Hello,

I am new to your exciting forum.
I saw that one could easily make detectors or order kits on the internet.

I live on a volcanic island in the Indian Ocean "THE REUNION". There are beaches with black sand. I wish I could detect gold jewelry (earrings, gold chains) and coins in the wet sand and in 10 cm of seawater.

I was advised Minelabs, Fisher F19. I was also offered induction chokes telling me that there was no discrimination on ferrous. But apparently this is false because there are projects of pulse induction that would discriminate ferrous.

- You advise me which detector easy to manufacture or to find in kit for cheap?

I saw the vandal pulse 3 and the felezjoo.

my bad yes xr71 not sr and better than felezjoo mainly because already built not kit and cheaper also not a pic programmed chip which is proprietary and difficult to fix if on an island, i have them both and very good chance is from silverdog site is just document to build but very good too.
Other option is kits from silverdog Surfpi and baracuda or minipulse but minipulse is quite advanced. i think Surf pi for starters.

take any kit from silverdog site and do. they are cheap.

surfpi 1.2 is the easiest by far (i have two so!) and i get good depth with simple coil as described in instructions "cane" can be made easily with pvc pipe and a heat source (even a simple stove can work if you heat gently and evenly for the bends).

no most pi do not discriminate only zr-71 sniffer with the module and felezjoo and chance pi to my knowledge but i stand for correction from the gurus on here!
The Seahunter mk2 commercial machine has some discrimination but it is in reality elimination rather than discrimination!

Now if you know Pi simple to build allowing such a good discerning sound nothing prevents you from sharing your science.

kt315 is well known for his "humour" which is sometimes lost in translation (northern european languages lose something in translation like with german) he means nothing by it so please do not take offence as he is very knowledgeable when he chooses to share.
As to coils if you wish to use it on a "cane" or stem as per most commercials and on the beach i would go for around 10" as there are many 9.8" polo housings available and is also the same size as those big plastic paint container lids if you need to fabricate a housing yourself (two stuck together with the coil in between is quite acceptable both practically and aesthetically.

why discrimination = screen in your imagination? if you want simplest project why with screen? what give you screen?
why you can not begin to read ITMD at first and sure get what you want and for what?
