As to coils if you wish to use it on a "cane" or stem as per most commercials and on the beach i would go for around 10" as there are many 9.8" polo housings available and is also the same size as those big plastic paint container lids if you need to fabricate a housing yourself (two stuck together with the coil in between is quite acceptable both practically and aesthetically.
what people want see is they see.

Felezjoo and chance have no "screen" indeed but they do give different audio tones for different returns and you can learn them with your ears also i believe the crazytech discrimination module and similar can be fitted (to the felezjoo) but i have no actual experience with other than zr71.

Thanks for information.
I am delighted to know this forum because it is technical and there are many competent people. I am here to learn and thank you for helping me.
I have been prospecting for years with an analog VLF golden mask 1+ bi-ton. I do not have a screen but discrimination allows me to easily eliminate ferrous and multi-tone give me an idea of the buried ferrous iron.
People I know use impulse detectors like the SCOPE CS4PI and complain about having to dig through all the sounds, that it has trouble finding small objects and gold. They also complain of low performance (15 cm maximum for gold jewelry)
Seeing videos on the internet and kits on ebay I saw that it was possible to discriminate the ferrous with the impulse.
I wanted to have confirmation from a specialist like you that it was possible to:
- Discriminate with a multion tone, VCo or a mon-ton that cuts the ferrous
- That the proposed kits will be able to capture small gold targets at least 20 cm in salt water or wet sand.
KT315 I do not focus on the screens but it's the only ones I saw allowing to discriminate or recognize the targets thanks to the ID. If there are multi-tone or monoton to discriminate ferrous without forgetting the gold I'll be delighted to know them.
What models do you recommend for my use without necessarily having a screen?
PS: i have found Fortune M3 https://www.ebay.fr/itm/Metal-Detect...h/222810485615
Thank you
