  • SURF PI 1.2-setting offset

    Hello.
May I ask somebody to advise? I set up the Surf PI 1.2. When trying to increase the performance it stopped working offset, when setting to 0V 5534 does not respond, even without NE 555. All measurements on the integrated circuits (I tried to change the new ones) are correct, unfortunately to the measurement I have only a multimeter . I have done so by eliminating C17, changing C6 to 220mF, and adding 100pF between pin 2 NE5534 and D1 D2.
This is an adaptation of a shema from a former member of the forum, so I did not try.
Do not you know where there might be a reason why you can not set 0-V on offset? On rotation
    does not respond.

I think it's not so important to set exactly 0V.
Try a different shot and do not look at the multimeter

sorry you can not set offset by multimeter. try disconnect driver mosfet (desolder) and then try do offset (without signal).

Is this a green or a black, slim board kit from Silverdog ?? normal offset is set with Ground, and pin 6 of the 5534 or TP2, with a volt meter, then you adjust the Delay accordingly with the coil you made. If you adjust the delay to fast then your coil is, it will no longer detect any metal.

Při nastavení (otáčení pomocí nastavovacího šroubu) nedochází k žádné reakci,
stále ukazuje - 0,7 V a nemůže ani zvýšit, ani snížit. Bylo bez problémů funfishing.
