Hi Carl....could you tell me if i can use a normal on/off switch to enable the GB mode cause i noticed on the GS 5 that a single pole double throw toggle switch is used....i also noticed on the whites pulsescans they use a switch built in the GB potentiometer to enable the GB mode.

In the regular TDI, there is a toggle switch to turn GB on/off. In the TDI Pro I put switch on the "fine" GB knob just to avoid crowded controls. You can put it anywhere you like.

Hi Carl....i think you have misunderstood me...i will try and explain my problem...i have an early pulsescan circuit based on GS 5 issue 2...on the pcb there are three pads where a toggle switch connects to switch the GB on or off...but i do not want to use a three point toggle switch...but only a simple two point switch...so when my switch is closed then ok GB is On....but when my switch is open then GB is OFF but the gate of one of the transistors Q7 should be grounded but with my simple switch the gate is not being grounded....only with a three point toggle switch would Q7 be grounded....but with my simple on/off switch the gate would be left floating.

Oh I see now... I solved this in the TDI-pro but don't remember how. But here's something to try: connect a 1Meg resistor from Q7-gate to ground. I think that is big enough that it won't mess things up when GB is on.
