Hate to burst your bubble this is not a pin pointer it is an AC finder. I speak Italian its to test walls before you drill a hole.

You can buy Malysh as (all ready soldered, inclusive 5cm coil,
what you need more is housing) kit from this Bulgarian guy:

@Nonkapo,,,,Thanks, but the link is not working also. I have already made the Malysh FM2. It worked great at first but then only the LED's worked when there was detection,,no sound,,,don't know why? I tried several different chips,,both pic12f675 and the pic12f629,,it would give sound and LED's at first then only LED'S. I'm still trying to figure out why. Thanks. Marty

                  My Pinpointer:

                  http://chemelec.com/Projects/Metal-P...-Pointer_2.avi

Using a Bigger Diameter Ferrite Rod will Increase Detection Distance, But than Pin Pointing Isn't as Precise.

I Tried to Upload this Layout, But it says it is Too Big of a File.
Even tried Re-Sizing it Much Smaller.
It was Created in Sprint 6.0.
