Small problem pinpoint mode 1265x

pinpoint mode works fine. Except the signal doesn't hold but fades smoothly down over a few second.

Any advice please

on a time limit on this as I would like to use this detector on Sunday.

It would be my guess that it is a leaking capacitor somewhere in the pinpoint circuit. As they begin to fail, they begin to leak and voltage is not held like a new capacitor. Qiaozhi and/or Carl probably know which capacitor from a schematic.

try clear from dirt around pin5 u301, pins of c303, pins 1 and 2 u303.

I will look at it again this week. Been out all day detecting today. I must be getting old. It takes a day now to recover from a day in the field

changed C303 now works fine. Thanks.

noticed U303 been out before. Couple of tracks stop short of the pins. Has anyone got a photo to confirm there suppose to and its not damage
