    Anyone have a schematic?
    DESCRIPTION: (From Seller)

rare early Eric Foster PULSEDEC pulse induction metal detector manufacturer by Pulse Induction ltd.

This is one of a very few number of early Eric foster all in one pi units that he first experimented with, made and released for sale.

He sold this particular technology to Araldo and C-Scope, especially the shaft and dial configuration and then went on to form Pulse Power which included the Goldscan and Aquasearch and many other models. He then sold this to Whites Metal Detectors who then developed the TDI series.

A museum piece and rare as anything to find now..

For those in doubt,, look at the shape of the head , it is very much like Eric foster early pulse power units and the same black resin bonding he used with Pulse Power instruments.

This machine is a dial and headphone sound machine and you can choose between the two .. i believe the dial is a magnetometer to identify iron signals and therefore discriminate out the iron by ignoring it.

Eric Foster.. legend and genius! For the purists! (End)

    Museum piece?

That is a ridiculous price for an old non-working detector with missing parts. This detector was made by a company called Brinland. Hence the BR next to the serial number. Originally made by me, but quantity manufacturing contracted out to Brinland, who sold to Pulse Induction Ltd, a London company, mainly for overseas sales. No discrimination. Meter purely monitors signal level. Never dealt with a company called Araldo (should be Arado), whose machines were VLF. I would consign it to the skip, not a museum!

    Eric.

          Yeah, still there. https://www.ebay.com/itm/rare-early-...0AAOSwLuBcFQUD

However, not so expensive as this one. Claimed it is Eric design or might be replica, only Eric can say. Most probably just using his name for advertising. At least in working condition.

            He's eventually sold it!
First attempt was for 450 GBP, then 300 GBP, then 190 GBP.
            Sold for 51.10 GBP.

Note: I had to write "GBP" (Great British Pounds) instead of using the "pound" sign, as the forum displays a question mark.
