Thank you. I will update here when i manage to save enough to buy coil(will try the local market too). Externally both the coils cost the same price and look exactly the same, but i will be more than happy to try before i buy:-). Will open separate thread for the assembly/disassembly and photos when i have more time. Planning a mod with 18650 batteries too but let's see:-).

Huh, sad to hear that. i'll show you some pics of the soldering... does not looking like coming from Texas;-). Otherwise everywhere there are stickers El Paso TX as well as holographic sticker about which probably no one in Teknetics factory know.Comment

Looking at the photo's of the "T2+", I think it's likely that they are not the genuine item, either.
Little details don't look correct. The mode push-button is red, all T2's I've seen have a grey button, (the red one is used on the cousin F75 machine). The foam grip seems a bad fit at the bottom end, that may be because it's not stuck on properly. An expert eye would doubtless find other things.Comment

I watch the video the day before my friend buy them. For me there is no issue as they come as a gift.really sorry for the poor people who get screwed. My one works properly. Even the ground balance. It's a bit noisy and already stop working so i have to open the control box and re solder some stuff:-). Will show you pics as i promise in separate thread. Same soft control box but not so the shaft. All the units have that issue with the foam even the goldfinders
Another question come. On the box of the Goldfinder is writen Pulse induction. When i open it as per me there is nothing to do with Pulse induction:-))))))))))). On Ali express in adverts of these units is mentioned all the possible types of metal detectors(PI, VLF, Induction ballance etc), which make me feel the sellerhave no idea, just try to make the item sound great. At the end i just hope if i coup them with original coil i'll be able to get them work better as Carl say and as some customers have noticed on the web. Now its a time to do some photos and open the new thread.Comment
