You really can't with just a multimeter, unless it happens to have inductance measurment capabilities, (Most Don't). Inductance is a frequency dependant measurement and you really need an inductance meter or LCR meter in order to easily measure a coils inductance. There are some available for around $100 that do a fairly good job.
