  • Waterproof Coil connector recomendations

    Hey everyone,

I'm building the minipulse and I'm putting everything in a waterproof box similar to this one https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00469AX4O..._0opqCb2E4GJ82 and I want to use waterproof coil connector to it.

Since I do plan on taking this out into the water I wanted to get a good quality waterproof connector, I'm only going to be using a mono coil on my minipulse.

What brand/model waterproof connector do you guys recommend?

    Thanks!

I'm in the USA, so I shouldn't have trouble ordering most connectors

I use these ones, https://www.ebay.ca/itm/IP68-Waterpr...DNz:rk:10:pf:0 they usually come with both the male and female side. All IP68 which is waterproof. hunt around you can get them a little cheaper.

Why its made of metal! ask anyone that has a sailboat! unless its 316 stainless steel its a no go, for salt water, hell, even the zippers on bags that are inside the boat gets eaten away after a season of sailing ! And that is inside the boat, not on the deck and much less in the water.

Ya this is going to be used on the beach so it would need to be plastic

Yes, I use them for a surf pi 1.2 that I metal detect in rivers with. Those connectors are 100% water tight if you don't over tighten the o ring that comes with it, but the same goes for any O-ring.

why me absolutely without english CAN while you can not use advanced search in your native forum with your native? thats absurd. you must learn something new in your life.
