Thank you. Would you mind telling me why this design choose the duty cycle of 96%? Will this cause too much current passing through the coil?

The signal is inverted, so 96% off time, 96% on time would be much too much.
I built the surf myself, it is economical in power consumption

thanks. For surf design, how long are the delay of the clock signal after 4093B? How to calculate it?

As far as I know, the delay is determined by the resistors and capacitors.
Which version do you want to build?
