    I guess not.
    Very cool though

    Congratulations Fisher

Won't be long and 3rd party coils will be out. LOL

"The metal detector has several search modes ? you can shift the detection of the conductivity of metals,
for example: you can move the detection towards poorly conductive metals (small gold items)
and at the same time eliminate highly conductive targets (large coins of silver and copper)
                ,
and vice versa ? you can look for large targets and cut off the poorly conductive."
                (Quote from Hobby-detecting)

So, if you go for poorly conductive small gold nuggets, you will eliminate highly conductive big nuggets too (not silver only)?
Mean, to be sure, not to go past something, we are forced to multiple search in different modes over every terrain?

Considering this, is claim of Ferro / NonFerro discriminating/differentiating still real?

                What producer say?

as always. you guys misleading Ohm conductivity with Fuko-Eddy current conductivity.
your school time gone beside you.

gold and silver (ONLY!) is POORLY conductive metals for Eddy current.

I also have seen these claims but will wait until units are out and in use before considering any opinion.

When I read the quote from Hobby-detecting, my conclusion was that this is conductivity-based discrimination (like White's TDI can provide by highjacking the ground balance) and not ferrous/non-ferrous. I assume this detector also includes the capability of ground balance, so maybe this a second "notch" function?
I guess we'll have to wait for the promised videos ...

Based on other forum discussions, particularly Dankowski's forum, it seems this 'first version' AQ / Manta will have a conventional mono-coil. The 'full' version, with the dual coil design, that helps negate wet-salt ground signal is presumably a work in progress.

What if you stop blaming yourself and instead read something in matter, before shouting nonsense?

"Add this all up and small gold items are low on the VDI scale and large gold items high on the scale.
Silver being a better conductor than gold, a silver item will read higher on the scale than the identical
size and shape gold item. In general silver will read higher than gold.
However, a very large gold item
can read higher than a very small silver item...
                          "

                          Quoted from here:

But according you, by VDI numbers expressed targets conductivity are not related to in target induced eddy currents?
