The Disc and GEB adjustments will be done in demodulated baseband. These phase shifters need to prepare a adjusted ~45 degree shift, and 90 degree shift on top of it, do that I can feed the CD4052 (or better, but with the same control arrangement). This way I'll get I+, I-, Q+, and Q- outputs, adjusted so that Q is precisely 0V when ferrite is used as a test target. This way I'll have fixed phases for VDI, while DISC and GEB adjustments will not depend upon the frequency or a coil.

In short, when you replace a coil, the only thing to set is a 45 degree adjustment, and you are good to go.

Very clever, it's easier to understand now. Thank you Davor!

        < Bump! > Hello, everybody.

Hey, I was interested in a new beach detector, and this is unfinished business. But this thread got old, to the point where I had to put "IGSL-NG" into the search window, just to find it . Or maybe I'm going blind (that too).

Seriously I thought maybe it had been deleted.

Before, I didn't know which page of the tech forum to find IGSL-NG, but now I do.

        It's on page 1

He will return when he has made sufficient progress on the next mod.
